Telfar

Telfar is a unisex fashion brand started in 2005 in New York City by designer Telfar Clemens, who was born in Queens to Liberian parents. The brand is best known for the Telfar Bag, a faux leather shopping bag released in 2014 that people nicknamed the Bushwick Birkin because it became so hard to find and so loved by regular people, not just celebrities. It comes in three sizes and more colors than you can count. Telfar sells bags, clothing, and denim, and opened its first real store in a 10,000 square foot flagship on Broadway in Soho, New York, complete with its own in-house TV studio, Telfar TV.
